Kerstin Amudala, the owner of African Bush & Beach Adventures introduced the Diani Pamoja Project to her guests and received a donation of 130,000 Shillings, which she handed over to Diani Pamoja. She and her husband Levi support the “Diani Pamoja” project with pleasure and conviction, as some of the members are not only business partners but also friends of the two, and as they consider it important to give something back to the local population. “It would be wrong to live a good life here for years and then to abandon the neighbours and friends when problems arise in times like these”.
African Bush & Beach Adventures was founded in 2012 and is a jeep safari operator based in Diani Beach. Kerstin Amudala discovered her love for Africa in 2002, when she started working at the Vienna headquarters of the African Safari Club after graduating from high school. Afterwards she was able to travel around in East and South Africa by working for another tourism company. Since 2011 she now lives in Diani Beach. First, she worked as a manager in a local diving school before she ventured into self-employment in 2012 with the foundation of African Bush & Beach Adventures. Meanwhile 3 safari jeeps and a van for airport transfers belong to the “fleet”.
